How do you prepare for a wedding day to ensure everything runs smoothly?

Preparation is key to capturing your day authentically and beautifully. Before your wedding, we’ll have detailed conversations about your timeline, important family members, and any special moments or surprises planned. I also scout venues in advance when possible, so I know the best spots for natural light and meaningful backdrops. On the day, I arrive early to set up calmly and stay flexible to capture those spontaneous, unscripted moments. This careful preparation helps me be fully present for you without distractions, so you can relax and enjoy your day knowing your story is in good hands.

How do you handle family dynamics or challenging group photos?

I understand that family photos can sometimes feel stressful or complicated, especially with large or blended families. My approach is gentle and organized—before the wedding, I’ll work with you to create a realistic shot list prioritizing must-have groupings. On the day, I keep things moving efficiently with a friendly, calm attitude to encourage cooperation and minimize stress. I’m experienced at reading the room and finding ways to keep everyone comfortable, so the photos feel natural and joyful rather than forced or tense.

What makes your photography different from others?

My work is deeply rooted in a belief that marriage is sacred and photography is about preserving feeling rather than just appearance. I bring a Christ-centered perspective that influences how I show up—with reverence, joy, and intentionality. Beyond technical skill, I offer a calm, reassuring presence that helps couples feel truly seen and valued. My style blends documentary storytelling with timeless elegance, capturing both the candid in-betweens and the emotional highlights so your images don’t just look beautiful—they feel meaningful.

What if our wedding day timeline changes or runs late?

Flexibility is essential on wedding days, and I’m experienced at adapting smoothly to changes. Whether your ceremony starts late or an unexpected event arises, I stay calm and focused to make the most of the available time. If you anticipate needing more coverage, I’m happy to discuss options for adding hours in advance or even on the day, schedule permitting. My goal is to capture as much of your story as possible without adding pressure or stress to your day.

Can we share our photos on social media?

Absolutely! Sharing your images with friends and family is one of the greatest joys of photography. I provide high-resolution digital files that are perfect for social media sharing and printing. I only ask that you credit my work when posting publicly—that helps me grow and continue doing what I love. If you’d like, I can also provide resized or watermarked images specifically formatted for social media.

How do you protect and back up our photos?

Your memories are precious, and protecting your images is a top priority. I back up all photos in multiple secure locations immediately after your wedding, including cloud storage and external drives. This redundancy ensures your images are safe from accidental loss or damage. I also recommend downloading and backing up your final gallery to your own devices or external storage to keep your memories secure for the long term.

we can't wait to hear from you!
